WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have arrested two people accused of breaking into West Ashley Middle School.

The Charleston Police Department has charged 25-year-old Ace Dominic Blakenship and 18-year-old Courtney Faith Moody with second degree burglary.

Both were locked up at the Al Cannon Detention Center.

The burglary happened around 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 at the West Ashley Middle School on 1776 William Kennerty Drive.

School officials said they found the teacher's lounge in disarray with several items found in the middle of the hallway. Surveillance cameras showed the suspects walking up to the building and pulling on the front door.

Police say the suspects were seen walking around inside the school.

Nothing was stolen. Police are continuing the investigation.
