JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

Police have charged a man wanted in Colorado with burglarizing a neighbor's James Island home last week.

Charles Francis, spokesman for the Charleston Police Department, said 41-year-old Quentin Stephen Hale, of 1018-B Encampment Court, broke into another home on the same street on Oct. 12.

Francis said the resident arrived at the home at 3:30 p.m. to find that someone had removed a screen from a rear window.

Nothing was taken from the residence. Francis said Hale is wanted in Colorado for violating parole on drug charges.

He is charged with second-degree burglary and property crime enhancement.

Hale is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
