MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Four people are back on dry ground Friday morning. They were rescued from the Wando River around 1:15 am.
The Coast Guard tells Live 5, four people were thrown from the boat after it struck a buoy.
Three of them were found clinging to a buoy off of Remley's Point in Mt. Pleasant about an hour after being thrown from the boat.
The fourth person swam to Drum Island where the boat ran aground to call for help.
