Hwy 61 reopened near Drayton Hall Plantation after wreck

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities closed Highway 61 in both directions on Monday morning after a wreck near Drayton Hall Plantation.

According to Charleston police, the wreck happened around 7:10 a.m. near the highway's intersection with Magnolia Ferry Road.  As of 8 a.m., traffic was moving slowly in both directions.

Reports from the scene indicate three vehicles were involved. EMS responded and left the scene before 7:45 a.m.
