MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - A toy drive for Debi's Kids and the Salvation Army Angel Tree kicks off at a Walmart in Mt. Pleasant on Wednesday.
The Walmart in the Wando Crossing Shopping Center, just past the I-526 exit on Highway 17, will collect new, unwrapped toys from 8 a.m. to noon today.
That Walmart is where the Debi's Kids campaign began in 1993. Since that time, Debi's Kids has collected well over $1 million worth of toys for Lowcountry children in need.
