THURSDAY

Berkeley 51, Hilton Head 32 - Ezekial Jenkins rushed for 246 yards and scored 3 TD's as the Stags (4-6, 3-2 in Region 8-AAA) earned a spot in the AAA playoffs.

 

FRIDAY

SCHSL AAAA

Summerville 37, Ashley Ridge 21 - Green Wave head coach John McKissick earned his 600th career victory.  Summerville improves to 6-4, 4-0 in Region 8-AAAA, while the Swamp Foxes fall to 3-7, 2-2.

Bluffton 63, Colleton County 12 - The Cougars (0-10, 0-4) struggle with the undefeated Bobcats.  Bluffton (10-0, 4-0) will visit Summerville to play for the Region 8-AAAA title next week.

Fort Dorchester 49, Beaufort 35 - The Patriots are 5-5, 2-2 in Region 8-AAAA.

Goose Creek 52, West Ashley 7 - The nationally-ranked Gators clinched a share of the Region 7-AAAA title (third straight) as they rolled past the Wildcats (1-9, 0-3).  Goose Creek can win the league outright by beating cross-town rival Stratford next week.

Wando 30, Cane Bay 10 - The Warriors (9-1, 3-1) came back from a three-point, halftime deficit.  The Cobras (5-5, 0-3) have lost four in a row.

Stratford 38, South Florence 14 - The Knights are 9-1 on the season.

 

SCHSL AAA

Hanahan 55, Stall 13 - The Hawks (9-1, 5-0 in Region 8-AAA) completed its second straight season with a perfect league record.  Mario Gates had four catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns.  The Warriors' season ends at 2-8, 0-5.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 14, James Island 2 - The Trojans are eliminated from the playoffs with the loss on the road.  Their season ends at 4-6, 2-3.

 

SCHSL AA

Timberland 44, Lee Central 6 - The Wolves (9-1, 5-0) ran past the Stallions for the Region 7-AA title.  Roderick McCray ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries; he also threw for a touchdown.  Timberland only gave up a total of 20 points in league play this season.

Bishop England 41, Ridgeland 8 - The Battling Bishops (9-1, 7-0 in Region 6-AA) completed their second straight season with an undefeated league mark.  They won the league title last week.

Woodland 58, Garrett 26 - The Wolverines (8-2, 6-1) rebounded from last week's loss with a solid showing on offense.  The Falcons are 5-5, 3-4.

Battery Creek 35, Academic Magnet 28 - The Raptors (6-4, 3-4) came up short on the road.

North Charleston 42, Burke 27 - The Cougars (1-9, 1-6) gave Rashan Frost his first career win in the regular season finale thanks to 40 points in the second half.  The Bulldogs (1-9, 0-7) end up in last place of Region 6-AA.

 

SCHSL A

Baptist Hill 26, Military Magnet 22 - The Bobcats (7-3, 4-0 in Region 6-A) survived an upset bid by the Eagles (3-7, 1-3) when Dakota Holmes returned a punt 62 yards for the go-ahead touchdown.

St. John's 72, Lincoln 6 - The Islanders (6-4, 3-1) had no issues with the Yellow Jackets (0-10, 0-4)

 

SCISA

Porter-Gaud 35, Pinewood Prep 16 - The Cyclones (5-5, 4-5 in SCISA AAA) beat their rivals for the third year in a row.  The Panthers' season ends at 1-9, 0-9.

Bible Baptist at Northwood Academy

Thomas Heyward 60, Palmetto Christian 28 - The Eagles end the regular season at 7-3.

Colleton Prep 48, St. Andrew's 12

Dorchester Academy at Holly Hill Academy
