NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Sheriff's Office detectives and SLED agents arrested a wanted man this week after a 6-month-long collaborative drug investigation by multiple agencies.
Terry Clarida, 26-year-old Terry Clarida was wanted after the sheriff's office, Mt. Pleasant Police, and ATF officials conducted an investigation in the Mt. Pleasant areas of "Ten Mile," including the White Hall Terrace and Copahee neighborhoods.
Major Jim Brady with the sheriff's office said Clarida, of Awendaw, was taken into custody on Tuesday at a home on Houston Street in North Charleston.
The sheriff's office charged Clarida with four counts of distributing cocaine base, one count of distributing heroine, while Mt. Pleasant police charged him with one count of distributing cocaine base.
ATF officials also charged him with felon in possession of a firearm and distribution of cocaine base.
Clarida is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
