Berkeley County men arrested after meth lab found in camper

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office has arrested two men after investigators found a meth lab in a camper.

Authorities charged 26-year-old Timothy Cannon Jr. with attempted to manufacture and possession of meth. Joseph Brandon Roff, 30, was also charged with possession of meth and simple possession of marijuana.

On Thursday, investigators with the Drug Enforcement Unit with the sheriff's office conducted a search of a camper on Santee River Road in St. Stephen.

According to the sheriff's office, agents found components of a meth lab along with a small amount of meth.

"The unit is working hard to clamp down on the methamphetamine labs in Berkeley County," said Capt. Mike Williams.

Both suspects were locked up at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
