GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) -

A Friday night fire at the Sunrise Mobile Home Park in Goose Creek has left one family of six temporarily without a home.

Goose Creek Rural Fire Department responded to a single mobile home fire Friday at 10:07 p.m. Firefighters say flames could be seen in the living room and kitchen of the home.

According to officials, it took firefighters less than five minutes to put out the fire. The home received smoke and heat damage from the flames.

The Red Cross provided assistance to the family of six, which included a 5-month-old infant. The family was given shelter for three nights, in addition to funds to replace some items lost in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
