
Richard Cue of South Carolina State was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Alex Glover, also of SCSU, was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Cue (QB, 6-1, 185, r-Jr., Florence, SC) completed 26-of-41 passes for 419 yards with four touchdowns in the Bulldogs' homecoming victory over Howard. The 419 yards set a school single-game passing record set in 2004. He also rushed 11 times for 43 yards.
Glover (DL, 6-1, 230, So., Charlotte, N.C.) spearheaded the Bulldogs' defense with eight tackles, seven unassisted, including four for a loss of 10 yards and three quarterback sacks in a 34-23 win over Howard.
