12 Lowcountry Football Players Named To North-South All-Star Game

Goose Creek, Stratford and Wando each placed 2 players apiece on the South team roster for the annual South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association North-South All-Star Football game to be played at Shaw Stadium at Myrtle Beach High School on December 8th. 

In all, 12 players from the Lowcountry will make the trip for the South team that will be led by St. John's head coach James Waring. 

Goose Creek, who's defense has given up just over 10 points a game in a 10-0 start, will be sending 2 defensive players. LB Jalen Stevens, who's collected 114 tackles and 6 sacks this season, along with ECU commit Mike Myers. The Defensive Tackle has 41 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 interceptions this season. 

Stratford will be sending big Defensive Tackle Shawn Peace along with Running Back Noah Shuler. Shuler has rushed for over 400 yards and 3 TD's on the year. 

Wando is represented by WR Rudder Brown who's caught 8 TD's and has close to 700 yards receiving on the year along with OL Chuck Rouse. 

Waring will also have one of his own players on the team in Defensive End Johnny Burch. 

Also representing the Lowcountry will be Bishop England RB DeAngelo Stephenson who's rushed for close to 1,000 yards and 20 TD's. 

Hanahan QB Anthony Smalls who's combined for almost 2,000 yards of total offense and 27 TD's. 

Summerville's Jerod Tucker who's rushed for almost 800 yards and 10 TD's. 

Ft. Dorchester's Daitwan Commodore and Timberland's Roderick Mccray round out the list.
