Deputies find mobile meth lab during Summerville traffic stop

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester County deputies discovered a mobile meth lab during after pulling someone over in Summerville on Wednesday, authorities say.

Dorchester County Sheriff's Office Major John Garrison said deputies pulled the vehicle over a little before 7:30 a.m. and found methamphetamine-making materials during a search.

Authorities investigated the scene in the parking lot of the Shell station located at the corner of Orangeburg Road and Central Avenue as passing motorists looked on.

Authorities have not identified the suspect. Continue checking for new information.
