MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) -

Firefighter crews have put out a three-story house fire off of Rifle Range Road in Mt. Pleasant.

According to Battalion Chief Jimmy Johnston, crews responded to a home on Lettered Olive Lane after the owner reported a chimney fire on Wednesday.

When firefighters arrived, the third floor of the house was fully involved with fire and smoke.

It took about 25 minutes for five Mt. Pleasant crews to put the fire out. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
