NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The man accused of holding up a West Ashley Rite Aid for Hydrocodone, Viagra, and Cialis was arrested Thursday evening at his North Charleston home.
Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said U.S. Marshals and North Charleston police officers arrested 25-year-old Stanley James in his Glenn Street residence around 5 p.m.
Francis said investigators were tipped off to his location.
Stanley is accused of robbing Rite Aid pharmacists at gunpoint at the Ashley River Road location on October 8 around 9 p.m.
He is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Francis said James was already on probation on drug charges when he committed the crime.
