
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A group is taking to the streets this weekend to clean up litter from some roadways in South Carolina.
Keep the Midlands Beautiful is holding Adopt-A-Highway and Adopt-A-Street cleanups on Saturday. The group says volunteers will be picking up trash on roadways throughout Lexington and Richland counties, as well as in the city of Columbia.
The group cautions drivers who see a cleanup crew working to please slow down.
