BEAUFORT, SC (WCSC) -
Investigators are on the lookout for two people who robbed a Chinese restaurant and assaulted two workers in Beaufort County Saturday night.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to the China Wok on 350 Shanklin Rd. at 10 p.m. in reference to a robbery.
The two employees said that two men, one of whom was armed with a shotgun, entered the restaurant.
The suspect armed with the shotgun then jumped over the counter and approached both of the victims. The sheriff's office says that both of the victims were struck in the head with the butt of the shotgun.
The suspects then took money from the victims' pockets. Investigators say the suspects were seen getting into a black truck at the side of the building.
