CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

This holiday season, Debi's Kids and the Salvation Army Angel Tree is going to need help spreading a little holiday cheer.

Last month, volunteers helped families sign up for assistance with a record-breaking numbers of 5,000 kids!

Debi Chard joined Mayor Joe Riley to kick off this year's Angel Tree program at MUSC, which is a big supporter of the cause every year.

Angels will be out Friday afternoon. If you want to give to Debi's Kids while getting a little pampering, "Simply Your Spa" is giving you that chance.

The West Ashley spa on 1901 Ashley River Rd. is having an open house on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All you have to do is bring a new unused toy and you'll be entered to win a years worth of spa services.
