Officials: N. Charleston mobile home empty at time of fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Fire officials say flames caused significant damage to a mobile home in North Charleston on Tuesday.

North Charleston Fire Department Spokesperson Bianca Sancic said the fire happened at a home located at 2000 Aragon Street around 6:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke rising from the single-wide mobile home, which was empty at the time

Sancic said no other surrounding homes were damaged in the fire.  No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
