NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

An elderly man accidentally drove his pickup truck into a Bank of America branch in North Charleston on Wednesday, police say.

North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said the driver accidentally slipped off the brakes and hit the gas, causing the truck to crash into the building.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the bank branch located in the 7400 block of Rivers Avenue.

Pryor said no one was injured and the bank remained open.

The driver has not been charged, Pryor added.
