CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A College of Charleston Public Safety officer rear-ended a Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputy on the Meeting Street exit from Interstate 26 on Thursday, troopers say.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Corporal Bob Beres, the wreck happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the I-26 eastbound exit ramp to Meeting Street.
Beres said the deputy stopped for traffic and was struck in the rear by the CofC officer.
Neither officers were injured in the crash.
Troopers are still investigating the incident.
