WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) - Officials have arrested two Walterboro men who they say played a role in a string of burglaries in the Lowcountry.
Thomas Major, 31, has been arrested on three counts of conspiracy to commit second degree burglary and two counts of receiving stolen goods. Ronald Frost, 29, has been arrested on three counts of second degree burglary.
Investigators say there is a warrant out for a third suspect, Winston Smith, for three counts of second degree burglary.
According to deputies, the burglaries took place between September 28 and November 5, 2012.
Deputies say Frost and Smith were committing burglaries and taking the items to Major. Major then sold the items on eBay, Facebook, at a store he owned, and at pawn shops in Charleston County.
Investigators found a number of stolen items at Frost's residence and at Major's store, Cup of Tea.
Anyone with information on the location of Smith should call Walterboro Public Safety at 843-549-1811.
