WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston Police Department have arrested a man they say responsible for burglarizing a home in West Ashley.

Police say Wayne Lamar-Deshone Stewart, 22, stole two laptop computers, a Nintendo DS and $500 from a coin bank at a home on Wateree Drive on Nov. 7.

He is charged with second-degree burglary.

The victim told police she left her house in the morning on Nov. 7 and when she came back around 1 p.m., she noticed that her home had been burglarized.

Police say Stewart entered the home through a bedroom window before stealing the aforementioned items.

A judge granted Stewart a $50,000 bond.
