Officials investigating fire at W. Ashley apartments

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Fire Department is trying to determine what cause a blaze which damaged seven apartment units in a West Ashley neighborhood over the weekend.

Fire department officials said Charleston crews and St. Andrews Fire Department responded to 907 East Estates Boulevard just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday to find flames shooting through the roof.

According to the Red Cross, three families were displaced from the fire, which damaged seven units in the building.

No one was injured during the incident.
