CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

State probation and parole agents in Charleston County are looking for 25 year old Montez Dezmond McPherson.

McPherson is wanted for violating probation after a possession of cocaine conviction.

"He received a sentence of one year, suspended upon four days and two years of probation supervision," said Agent Mitchell Ray.

ray said for some reason, McPherson stopped reporting to his probation officer in July.

"The courts really looked at his underlying problem to try to help him, but he simply took off."

Agents went to a home where McPherson was supposed to be staying, but he wasn't there. McPherson apparently moved without telling probation and parole officials.

"We have no idea where he is and we don't know the reason that motivated him to move," Ray said. "Due to the type of offense, we definitely want to find Mr. McPherson and we want to get the terms of his supervision completed."

McPherson stands 5'6" and weighs about 192 pounds.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

You don't have to your name and may earn a cash reward.
