WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have arrested a man accused of burglarizing a drug store in West Ashley.

The Charleston Police Department arrested James Anthony Cooper Friday afternoon and charged him with second-degree burglary in connection to an incident that happened earlier this month.

On the morning of Nov. 7 officers responded to Wellness Plus on 1001 Physicians Dr. in reference to a burglary.

A store employee said she noticed that someone had broken the business' front door. Police say it appeared the door had bed been force open by a heavy object like a crowbar.

Investigators found a cabinet was forced open.

Employees told officers that a money box and business patients' credit card numbers were missing from the cabinet.
