WEST ASHLEY, SC (AP) -

The suspect of a Rite Aid robbery, 22-year-old John H. Davey, has surrendered to police Monday.

Authorities say Davey is charged with strong armed-robbery after entering the Rite Aid at 1115 Old Towne Road and demanding Oxycodone.

The suspect left the pharmacy with about 260 Oxycodone pills. 

Davey surrendered at police headquarters and was locked up at the Al Cannon Detention Center.

This investigation is ongoing.
