CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has arrested one person and are looking for two others in connection to a fatal shooting that took the life of a 47-year-old man in Adams Run.

Investigators have charged 50-year-old James Samuel Moultrie with obstruction of justice and willful destruction of evidence in connection to the fatal shooting of Nathaniel Gordon.

The shooting happened on Nov. 9 inside of Moultrie's home.

Deputies are also searching for 25-year-old Tavern Deon Wright, aka. "P.T." and Deangelo Martequiz Brown, aka "DeeDee" on obstruction of justice warrants.

According to investigators, the shooting happened during an attempted armed robbery at Moultrie's home. An incident report states that Moultrie provided false information in relation to the robbery and what happened during the incident.

Investigators say Moultrie told another person who was inside the home to leave with a weapon during the incident.

Detectives are still working the case to identify who were responsible for the robbery and what led to shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (843) 202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
