Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell is asking for the community's help in locating two suspects in a September armed robbery and shooting.
Ravenell explained, "On Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 10:15 p.m., the 35-year-old male victim was sitting in his vehicle in his backyard on Moncks Corner Road, Eutawville, when two masked men approached him saying 'We heard you won $1500 in our pool game.' The men then pulled the victim from his vehicle and the victim was shot several times. The victim drove to a neighbor's house for assistance and his neighbor drove him to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Ravenell said their investigation indicated the masked gunmen were Kenneth Roscoe Hutchinson and Darius Antwan Gulley-Smalls. Jamarcus Jermain Stinson and Davontae Ojay Jenkins helped to plan the robbery.
Gulley-Smalls was arrested on Nov. 15 on attempted murder, attempted robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Bond was set at $30,000.
Jenkins was arrested on Nov. 16 on accessory before the fact to a felony. Jenkins helped plan the armed robbery of the victim, according to Ravenell. His bond was denied.
