NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Firefighters put out a large mobile home fire in North Charleston Saturday.

According to North Charleston Fire Department Spokesperson Bianca Sancic, firefighters responded to a fire in the 5400 block of Trailwood Drive just after 11:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the home engulfed in flames.

No injuries have been reported.

A man who lives nearby told us he and his wife heard a large boom around 11:40 a.m. and walked outside to find flames as high as the treeline.

The man said the flames were only visible for a few seconds before smoke began to rise.

He also said the fire appeared to be out a little after noon.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
