The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward of up to $5000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the burglary and firearms thefts from the Guns and Gold Trading Post in N. Charleston.

The shop is a federally-licensed firearms dealer.

Authorities say three people crashed a stolen SUV into the front of the Guns and Gold Trading Post on Nov. 1. It is located at 8983 University Blvd. Investigators say they stole at least ten guns from the business.

It's been nearly one month since the break-in, and owner Thane Hollington says the store front has still not been repaired. He is operating the business through the back door.

This burglary and firearms theft is being investigated by ATF and the North Charleston Police Department.

All information will be treated confidentially and the callers will remain anonymous if they request.  Anyone with information about this crime may report it to the:
