CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Holy City is back in the top five of the 2012 edition of CNN Time & Leisure's "America's most attractive people" survey.
Charleston finished fourth in the network's survey this year, behind Miami, San Diego, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Charleston bounced back from falling to number seven in 2011, one year after its residents were named most attractive in the country by the network survey.
A tidbit reads: While readers still find the locals to be charming—and think that the city makes a great romantic getaway—they were easily distracted by all the good shopping, ranking the city in the top five when it comes to antiques, design stores, and indie boutiques.
Savannah also cracked the top 10 of the list, finishing eighth behind the aforementioned cities and Los Angeles, Nashville, and Austin.
Honolulu and the Minneapolis and St. Paul area round out the top 10. Click here to find all the results.
