COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
A man accused of raping a child was denied bond in Colleton County on Thursday, authorities say.
Jonathan Gillikin, 28, of Round-O, was one of Colleton County's top ten most wanted suspects. He was taken into custody on Wednesday after he surrendered at the Colleton County Detention Center around 3 p.m.
Gillikin is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
According to an affidavit, Gillikin used aggravated force to have sexual intercourse with a juvenile female during the month of July 2011.
Colleton County Sheriff's Office officials say Gillikin was denied bond during a hearing Thursday, so he will remain behind bars for the time being.
