COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - A special group organized to fight human trafficking in South Carolina is meeting this week.
Attorney General Alan Wilson says the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force is holding its second meeting on Friday morning at his Columbia offices.
Wilson says the panel is planning to review how other states address human trafficking and evaluate which plans might work best for South Carolina.
The task force is also discussing the observance of Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Day, which is slated for Jan. 15.
