LINCOLNVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

The Lincolnville man charged with running a meth lab in his home was granted a $100,000 bond on Saturday.

Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested 52-year-old Reid Anthony Brown last Friday after a tip led them to his home at 500 East Owen Drive.

Deputies arrived to find a small, active meth lab inside the home, said Captain Eric Watson. Brown was charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine.

East Owen Drive and nearby Watson Road was blocked off for several hours Friday as hazmat crews and investigators searched the scene.

As of Monday, Brown was still being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
