BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
An investigation into a package shipped from Colorado to Hilton Head Island revealed that a Beaufort County man was getting regular drug shipments for the past several months.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office learned that the suspicious package contained one pound of marijuana and was being shipped to Michael J. Fink.
After authorities linked the package to Fink, he was detained and admitted to trying to obtain the package.
Investigators learned additional packages had been sent to Fink over the past several months. According to deputies, an additional small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found at Fink's home.
Fink is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
