TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Bama fans can't wait to hear ‘Welcome to Miami' in January when the Tide plays Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship, but a trip to South Beach is going to cost you! While the trip may be expensive, you know some die-hard Alabama fans will definitely be willing to shell out the money to watch the game.

On StubHub.com and TicketLiquidator.com, tickets ranged from $1,400 up to $300,000. The cheapest tickets were in the upper corner of the endzone. One lower section ticket was found in the $1,700 range, but most of the lower section tickets are going for about $2,000 a ticket.

Now, of course there are travel packages you can buy to get to Miami, but AAA's website says it is already sold out of some those. AAA spokesperson Clay Ingram says even though the University of Alabama has been to the big game 2 out of the last 3 seasons, demand for tickets and travel is still high, which means prices continue to climb.

"It's pretty discouraging if i'm gonna try to buy a ticket because that's definitely out of my range," said Bama fan Alex Woodward.

"If prices are $1500 as some of them are on the internet, that would be a deterrent for me," said Nicholas McQueen.

For those Bama fans planning to go, the time to act is now. Ingram says the longer you wait, the less tickets will be available and the higher prices will be.
