HOLLYWOOD, SC (WCSC) -
Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating a shooting where a 35-year-old man was shot at a backyard at a home in Hollywood early Thursday morning.

According to the victim's mother, her son was in the backyard when she heard a gunshot. The victim then stumbled in the home and yelled for his mother.
The victim was taken to Medical University of South Carolina for treatment, Brady said.
At this time a motive for the shooting or the identity of a suspect has not been determined and detectives continue to investigate the incident.
