HACKENSACK, NJ (AP) -

A Moncks Corner man accused of using a stun gun on other fans during a fight at a New York Jets game last year has been sentenced to three years of probation.

The Record newspaper reports that Leroy McKelvey pleaded guilty Friday to felony possession of a weapon. Seven assault charges he'd been facing were dismissed.

McKelvey entered his plea in State Superior court in Hackensack. The 60-year-old McKelvey was arrested at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 11.

Security had been beefed up for the game because it was the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Police say McKelvey allegedly got into an argument at the Jets-Dallas Cowboys game with fans upset that he had remained seated for the national anthem.
