CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley - Charleston - Dorchester Council of Government is holding an open house Tuesday night to discuss alternative options to driving on Interstate 26.
It is no secret that commuter traffic from Summerville to Charleston and vice versa can be a bear on most days, espectially this time of year.
The multi-county council is kicking off a two-year study to look at options to make travel easier and more accessible around the Tri-County area.
The open house, scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, will serve as a launching platform for ideas.
The meeting will be held at North Charleston City Hall.
