NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Police say they arrested a man and a woman last week after finding drugs during a search of their North Charleston home.

North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said narcotics investigators searched 4415 Lamber Street in the Dorchester Waylyn community on Friday.  During the search, Pryor said investigators found 24.6 grams of marijuana and items used to weigh and distribute illegal drugs.

Pryor said resident Jonathan Knapp, 26, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within a half-mile proximity of a school.

Police also determined another resident of the home, 30-year-old Andrea Giles, was wanted on shoplifting charges.  She was arrested also, according to Pryor.
