Clemson student accused in dry-ice bomb explosions

PICKENS COUNTY, SC (WYFF) - A junior at Clemson University is facing a felony charge after police say he made and blew up three dry-ice bombs over the weekend.

Clemson University police arrested Kaleb Donald Williams, 21, a junior from Woodruff, after the dry-ice bombs exploded Sunday night in Thornhill Village on campus.

Police received calls from students in the Thornhill Village area who thought the explosions were gunshots.

Williams was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sunday and was released Monday on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

He is charged with manufacture and use of a destructive device, a felony.
