The man accused of pawning a GPS unit stolen from a City of Charleston parking enforcement vehicle has been arrested.

According to Charleston police records, 32-year-old Demetrius Wells was arrested Friday around 1 p.m.

Charleston police say Wells pawned a TomTom GPS at Money Man Pawn on Meeting Street on Dec. 8 for $20. On Dec. 10, a parking enforcement officer reported the same GPS stolen from his vehicle over the weekend.

Police records show Wells was charged with receiving stolen goods.
