BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

A Huger family is homeless after a fire destroyed their two story home Wednesday afternoon.

The Huger Fire Department says emergency crews responded to the fire on 1053 Mud Hole Lane around 1:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived on scene, the home was fully engulfed by flames. Video taken from the scene shows flames ripping through the house as emergency crews fight the fire.

The Red Cross is assisting the family.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
