CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The Citadel's internal investigation into the handling of a complaint about a former camp counselor molesting boys is being delayed up to three months.

Special counsel Joe McCulloch says the delay comes because 1 of the two firms hired to conduct the investigation was too expensive. McCullough says another firm has been found.

The investigation centers on how the college handled the complaint about former camp counselor and Citadel graduate Skip ReVille. The school looked into the complaint but never contacted police.

ReVille was sentenced in June to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to 22 abuse counts.

McCullough says the internal investigation will be done by March.
