    The Colleton and Dorchester County sheriff's offices Tuesday announced a joint effort to crackdown on criminal activity on the Edisto River. Authorities say stepped up patrols will be on the lookout for drunks, people who litter and other violators.
BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for two men who robbed a Dairy Queen on Lady's Island Wednesday night.

Deputies responded to the Dairy Queen on 115 Sea Island Pkwy just before 9 p.m. for a robbery. Employees told authorities that the store had just been robbed by two men.

According to investigators, the two suspects, both wearing ski masks and armed with guns, went into the store around 8:45 p.m.

The suspects then took off after taking money from the cash registers.

The sheriff's office describes the suspects as black males, 6-foot tall and 180 pounds. Deputies say one suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and cargo pants, while the other was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and cargo pants.
