Charleston police have arrested a woman who they say beat a victim with speakers and bragged about it on Facebook back in September.

Police say 26-year-old Kishonda Hope Brown was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault & battery third degree in relation to an incident that occurred on September 1, 2012.

According to a police report, the victim was at her cousin's apartment at 1900 Hazelwood Drive when Brown knocked on the door. The victim says Brown tried to "start drama" with her, because they both have children with a man who is Brown's boyfriend.

Police say Brown attacked the victim, pushing her to the ground and hitting her in the face with speakers. An unknown woman who was with Brown punched the victim in the face 3 to 4 times.

The two women then left and ran into a nearby apartment.

The report states officers knocked on the door of the apartment the two suspects ran into, but no one answered.

After the attack, police say Brown posted on Facebook that she had assaulted the victim.

Police arrested Brown based on a warrant for her arrest following the attack. The second suspect has not yet been found.
