BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Berkeley County Coroner's Office says a 20-year-old man who was found dead in a car in Pineville was shot in the head.

Coroner Bill Salisbury said that Bradley Steven Blake of Pineville died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office arrested Devonte Gaillard of Pineville Thursday evening and charged him with Blake's murder.

According to Dan Moon with the sheriff's office, deputies had responded to a report of a dead body inside a car on Willowood Lane Thursday morning. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office says the body was found at 11 a.m.

Deputies then discovered Blake's body.

Authorities say an intensive investigation led to Gaillard's arrest. Gaillard was locked up at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
