BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

A Berkeley County man was killed Saturday night in a freak tractor accident.

According to Coroner Bill Salisbury, 41-year-old Richard Watson Murray, of Moncks Corner, lost control of his tractor around 11:30 p.m. Murray was thrown from the tractor before it ran into a farm pond.

The coroner has ruled the death an accident and says Murray was killed by head trauma sustained in the fall from the tractor.
