LADSON, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a two car accident involving a Charleston County deputy which happened Thursday night in the area of 9919 Highway 78.
Authorities say deputies were working an auto-pedestrian accident just before 9 p.m. in the area at the time.
According to Major Brady, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, the accident involving the Charleston deputy occurred around 9:20 p.m.
Investigators say no one was injured in the accident and that the victim of the auto-pedestrian accident was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the vehicle involved in the auto-pedestrian accident left that scene of the accident.
According to investigators there's no information about the type of vehicle or the driver involved in this accident and it remains under investigation with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
