The Dorchester County coroner has identified the victim and suspect from the murder-suicide incident in The Gables Mobile Home Park of North Charleston.
A 26-year-old man who authorities say shot and killed a 34-year-old woman before taking his own life Tuesday morning was released from jail last month for allegedly assaulting the woman earlier this year.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC/WMBF) - A cyclist was killed after being hit by a car on Highway 17 in Georgetown County, according to the corner.
Georgetown County Coroner Kenny Johnson said the victim was a 43-year-old man from Florida named William Carlos Dominguez. He died at the hospital in Georgetown.
The wreck happened just after 7 a.m. on Ocean Highway just south of Pawleys Island, near the bridges on the north side of Georgetown.
Troopers said a 2009 Ford Pickup truck was riding north when it collided with the bicycle-riding Dominguez.
The crash is still under investigation.
Crews on the scene shut down the northbound lanes of the highway while the scene was cleared.
